Satelia careers Join us
in the service of patients
Satelia watches over people with heart failure, at home, between two consultations. Whether you write code, care for patients or sell, your work has a direct effect on their lives.
We hire rarely, and carefully: demanding, curious people who learn fast and love work well done.

Your work helps patients live at home, longer and better: a 36% lower risk of death in TELESAT-HF.
Healthcare, regulation, technology, artificial intelligence: in a market still being built, one year here is worth three.
Total compensation targeted at the 70th percentile of the market, and access to equity after six months.
Why Satelia exists
caring for patients between two consultations
Our healthcare system was built for acute illness: you see a doctor when you are unwell, then nothing until the next episode. A chronic disease, however, changes every day, at home, far from caregivers.
Improving the quality of life of people living with heart failure.
Founded in 2017 by Dr Nicolas Pagès, an anaesthesiologist and intensive care physician, Satelia helps care teams move from episodes to continuous follow-up.
To become an international leader in heart failure remote monitoring, recognised for its clinical evidence.

Our ten-year master planOne disease, heart failure; one country, then the next.
- 1Heart failure in FranceProve the model where the evidence is strongest.
- 2The United StatesOpen the world’s largest remote monitoring market, by 2028.We are here
- 3PreventionSupport people at risk before they become ill.
Three pillars
human, scientific and software

Human
Our care team (nurses and medical secretaries) welcomes patients, answers their questions and follows by phone those who do not use digital tools: no one is left behind.

Scientific
Medical and scientific experts improve our algorithms, and every change is proven by a published study.

Software
Satelia® Cardio, a class IIa medical device born from a project at Bordeaux University Hospital, helps clinicians spot early the patients who need them.
Satelia in figures
a scale-up with the means to match its ambition
Founded in 2017 by a physician, Satelia is the leading French player in heart failure remote monitoring¹.

Our teams
four families, one standard
Every open position matters: we look for experts in their field who are humble and love to learn.
Product and tech
Tech, product, data and artificial intelligence. First, reliable tools delivered at the right time, at the quality that care requires; then code that is scalable and built to last. In that order, because patients depend on it.
Science and care
Science and clinical studies, medical, care team (nurses, medical secretaries), quality and regulatory: the rigour behind our evidence and our relationship with patients.
Growth
Sales, deployment and customer success, marketing, with one urgency: enabling more patients to be better monitored, supporting clinicians in the field and remotely.
Support functions
Human resources and finance: the foundation of everything. Hiring the right people, helping them grow and keeping a healthy, aligned team built on trust.
Meet the team
what they say about Satelia
Clinicians, engineers, sales people: four voices among the sixty or so people who make Satelia.

Anything is possible here: all it takes is an idea, from anyone, and it can become a project.
We always push ourselves to go further, because the sector demands it and our patients deserve it.
Our transparency is unique: everything is shared here, from strategic choices to pay.
We share what we learn here: you naturally feel part of the momentum.
Our culture
excellence, in the service of patients
Our culture comes down to a few words: excellence, in the service of patients. It draws on the high standards, accountability and precision of medical practice: we hold lives in our hands, whatever our role.

I am a physician. I founded Satelia because a chronic disease does not wait for the next appointment to get worse. To me, a culture is a common language: knowledge, practices and values that are passed on, and a shared way of doing things with passion.
Valued behaviours
if these four behaviours sound like you, you will thrive here
Excellence
Experts in our field and humble in our relationships, we take care over every piece of work: lives depend on it.
Would you sign this work with your name?
Transparency
Salaries, ownership, financial results, departures: by default, everything is shared.
Would you say it in front of the person concerned?
Accountability and impact
Everyone has a written scope, high goals, and answers for their results: that is what makes autonomy possible.
Which result do you own this quarter?
Learning and innovation
We learn continuously, adopt new tools early and pass on what we know.
What did you learn this week?
“This responsibility makes us more demanding: check, double-check, and always question the why.” Aminata, senior product manager
What we look for
people who raise the bar
If these qualities sound like you, you will enjoy working here. If not, better to know now.
Agility and curiosity
Markets, regulations and tools change fast: you love to learn, keep training and bring others along with you.
A passion for health
Developer, nurse or marketer: working in health is a craft of its own. Your skills serve patients, and you take the time to understand the medical issues.
An appetite for challenges
The pace is intense, with peaks of activity and sometimes a real mental load: we would rather say so. If you like aiming high, measuring your results and improving, the environment is stimulating.
The profiles that thrive
humble, demanding and attentive to others
- Humble: they separate ego from work, ask for feedback and use it to improve.
- Demanding: they set ambitious goals, stay on course autonomously and always look to improve.
- Emotionally intelligent: they understand team dynamics, adapt how they communicate and help others grow.
Two assets matter for every role: regular use of artificial intelligence, then English.
How we work
a culture that shows in its rituals
Our headquarters are in Paris, near Saint-Lazare station: we grow by working alongside one another.
Every Monday
The All Hands
Twenty-five minutes with the whole company: the week’s figures, the voice of customers, product news, a word from the CEO. Then one success and one stumble, shared in front of everyone.
Every month
The Agora
One hour together to discuss strategy, the roadmap and major research and development projects.
Every quarter
Written goals
Objectives and key results (OKRs) for each team, known to everyone and reviewed at a team seminar.
Every day
Artificial intelligence
The latest models for the whole team, with the security that health data requires, and a weekly sharing of what we do with them.

What we offer
excellence, a two-way commitment
As in an operating theatre, everyone must be precise and meticulous. This standard comes with something in return.
What excellence asks of each of us
- Serving patients and clinicians: our first requirement, the one that guides all the others.
- Caring for others: listening with humility, giving feedback with tact.
- Mastering your craft and taking care over the quality of every piece of work.
- Committing fully to your work and to the team.
- Making progress every week, individually and together.
What Satelia commits to give you
- A meaningful project: clinical results published in major international journals.
- Total compensation targeted at the 70th percentile of the market (for an equivalent role, better than 70% of pay practices), a variable component and access to equity after six months (BSPCE or share purchase).
- Leaders and peers who embody what they ask of others.
- The means to do your job well: tools, training, clear goals and expectations.
- A team with a high density of talent, where you grow by working alongside others.
- A written onboarding roadmap at 30, 60 and 90 days, then check-ins at 6 and 9 months.

How do I apply to Satelia?
Browse our open positions on our careers page, or send a spontaneous application to jobs@satelia.eu. The process then takes about three weeks, in four steps.
What are Satelia’s prospects?
Two ambitions by 2028: opening the United States, and strengthening clinical effectiveness through research and development, with next-generation algorithms. Our goal: zero emergency hospitalisations. Within ten years: prevention.
Is Satelia financially sound?
Yes. Satelia breaks even thanks to the reimbursement of remote monitoring by the French national health insurance. This stability allows us to invest in exciting innovation projects and in our international expansion.
Which skills are most sought after?
Those specific to each role, plus two cross-cutting assets: first, regular use of artificial intelligence, now essential whatever the job; then English, necessary in an international environment.
How should I prepare for an interview?
Learn about our mission, our products and our culture, and come with transparency: talk openly about your successes, your doubts and what you are looking for. A good interview is an honest meeting, and it is better to realise quickly that Satelia is not right for you than after a few months. Our process is designed to be transparent: you choose the company you will invest yourself in at least as much as we choose the person for the job to be done.
Is remote work possible?
Partly: the team is on site three days a week and works remotely the rest of the time. Nothing is set in stone forever, but we have just brought most of our Bordeaux teams together in Paris, and we want, at least throughout 2027, to rebuild a team that sees each other. Our positions are therefore not offered as fully remote.
Do you hire outside France?
Most of our positions are based in Paris. As we develop internationally, we also welcome spontaneous applications from other countries: send yours to jobs@satelia.eu.
Does Satelia take interns or apprentices?
No. Satelia takes neither interns, nor apprentices, nor people with less than four years of professional experience: we want to guarantee proper support for everyone, and we do not believe we can do so with the quality we expect below that level of experience. If you think you can make an exceptional contribution, with a talent that truly stands out, write to us anyway at jobs@satelia.eu.
How does onboarding work?
Meetings with the teams and training on the product, the tools and the culture, with a written 30, 60 and 90-day roadmap, then check-ins at 6 and 9 months.
What happens if my application is not successful?
You will always receive an answer. We may occasionally fall behind: we apologise if it takes longer than expected, and we do our best to reply quickly. With your consent, we may keep your profile for up to two years to contact you if a better-matching opportunity arises. You can withdraw your application or exercise your rights at any time by writing to jobs@satelia.eu.
Does Satelia hire nurses?
Yes. Satelia is always looking for clinical skills, especially nurses, who form, together with medical secretaries and physicians, the care team that follows patients every day. These positions are recruited throughout the year: you can send your CV to jobs@satelia.eu at any time.
